Banana Chips Production Line Principle
- Peeling: In the processing of bananas, the fruit is peeled as soon as it is received to prevent it from spoiling and the peeling is done mechanically to reduce time hence increasing efficiency.
- Slicing: Bananas’ yellow skin is peeled off with blenders and bananas are sliced uniformly with slicers so that they fry properly and get the right texture.
- Blanching: Banana slices can be subjected to light blanching to inactivate enzymes and to maintain colour, texture and nutritional value.
- Frying: The prepared slices are then fried in hot oil at the right temperatures for frying to ensure that they are crispy and have a golden-brown colour.
- De-oiling: When frying is done the banana chips are de-oiled in order to make it more healthier for human consumption.
- Seasoning and Packaging: These are fried and from which oil is extracted, are subjected to different tastes and preferences before being flow-packaged to increase their longevity.
